No one lays open the heart and soul quite like New York Times bestselling author Mia Sheridan in this new standalone contemporary romance.
The moment she met Callen Hayes, eleven-year-old Jessica Creswell knew he was a broken prince. Herprince. They became each other's refuge, a safe and magical place far from their troubled lives. Until the day Callen kissed her--Jessica's first real, dreamy kiss--and then disappeared from her life without a word.
Years later, everyone knows who Callen Hayes is. Famous composer. Infamous bad boy. What no one knows is that Callen's music is now locked deep inside, trapped behind his own inner demons. It's only when he withdraws to France to drink his way through the darkness that Callen stumbles into the one person who makes the music return. Jessica. His Jessie. And she still tastes of fresh, sweet innocence... even as she sets his blood on fire.
But they don't belong in each other's worlds anymore. There are too many mistakes. Too many secrets. Too many lies. All they have is that instinctive longing, that need--and something that looks dangerously like love.

A note from Mia about More Than Words
I always say that my favorite book out of all the ones I’ve written is the one I’m currently working on, and that’s because I’m closest to those characters in the moment. But I have to say, that I will be surprised if, even years from now, with more titles under my belt, More Than Words, won’t still be my favorite. I think it has a lot to do with Callen Hayes (my troubled, but sensitive bad boy), the location of the story (the Loire Valley in France—sigh), and the surprise element to this book (something I won’t give away but that I’ve never attempted before). It all came together to create a story that I hope readers will find exciting, surprising, and incredibly emotional. (Also, this story called for quite a bit more steam than Most of All You and it was fun getting a little sexier this time). 😉
Don’t they look lovely together?
These three covers were designed to compliment each other with branding that lets readers browsing shelves know they’re both by the same author.
A New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling book. One of the Top 100 Romance Novels of All time on Goodreads! Archer’s Voice is a full-length, stand-alone romance.
I wanted to lose myself in the small town of Pelion, Maine. To forget everything I had left behind. The sound of rain. The blood. The coldness of a gun against my skin. For six months, each breath has been a reminder that I survived—and my dad didn’t. I’m almost safe again. But the moment I meet Archer Hale, my entire world tilts on its axis… and never rights itself again.
Until I trespass into his strange, silent, and isolated world, Archer communicates with no one. Yet in his whiskey-colored eyes, something intangible happens between us. There’s so much more to him than just his beauty, his presence, or the ways his hands communicate with me. On me. But this town is mired in secrets and betrayals, and Archer is the explosive center of it all.
So much passion. And so much hurt. But it’s only in Archer’s silence that we might just find what we need to heal… and live.
A broken woman…
Crystal learned long ago that love brings only pain. Feeling nothing at all is far better than being hurt again. She guards her wounded heart behind a hard exterior and carries within her a deep mistrust of men, who, in her experience, have only ever used and taken.
A man in need of help…
Then Gabriel Dalton walks into her life. Despite the terrible darkness of his past, there’s an undeniable goodness in him. And even though she knows the cost, Crystal finds herself drawn to Gabriel. His quiet strength is wearing down her defenses and his gentle patience is causing her to question everything she thought she knew.
Only love can mend a shattered heart…
Crystal and Gabriel never imagined that the world, which had stolen everything from them, would bring them a deep love like this. Except fate will only take them so far, and now the choice is theirs: Harden their hearts once again or find the courage to shed their painful pasts.
