Sometimes love isn’t enough…
Sometimes you’re required to be beautifully loyal.
If you think you know her… You’re wrong.
If you think you know her family… Wrong again.
If you think you know her story… You don’t.
Ashlynn Adorite is no stranger to the cruel and unusual world she was born into. In fact, she accepts it, understands it, embraces it. However, in her world, falling in love isn’t simply a choice. It causes problems, changes lives, disrupts business.
Sex, pleasure, carnal desires ... those things Ashlynn understands. Love ... not so much. Her world is turned upside down when she starts to feel something for not just one man, but two. The question is, can she have all that she desires, or will loyalty to her family interfere.
What beats mafia style bad boys?
Mafia, Bad Boys, & Ménage Nicole Edwards style!
(Not Safe For Work due to the jaw dropping heat level!)
Ashlynn turned to see Jase sauntering down the hall toward her, his thigh muscles bunching with every step. She loved the way those faded jeans hugged him in all the right places, accentuating his muscular thighs, fantastic ass, not to mention the giant bulge he sported between his legs. The man had caught her attention from the very first day he’d stepped into her house five years ago, looking for a job. He was mouth-wateringly good-looking, and that voice of his… His words alone made her insides quiver with need.
She was ready for some action of her own, and Jase was just the man to provide that for her.
When Jase’s six-foot-two-inch, extremely powerful frame pressed her up against the wall, Ashlynn clutched his broad shoulders as she peered up into those sexy, crystal-blue eyes. His blond hair was cut short but not so short that she couldn’t slide her fingers through it and pull him down to her.
Jase nuzzled her neck as he slid his big, warm hand beneath her skirt, easing inside her panties and pressing his finger against her clit.
“Is this what you’ve been waiting for?” Jase’s tongue caressed the sensitive skin beneath her ear.
Closing her eyes and enjoying the tingle that ignited in her core, Ashlynn nodded her head.
“You’re wet for me,” he whispered against her ear. “So fucking wet.”
“Yes,” she hissed.
The man knew exactly which of her buttons to push to ratchet up her heart rate, and he didn’t have any qualms about giving her what she needed when she needed it.
“Were you thinkin’ about me?”
Ashlynn nodded again, her eyes rolling back as the pleasure intensified. “Don’t stop,” she murmured, riding the sensual high her body craved as he teased her clit.
His lips brushed hers lightly. “What’ll you do if your brother comes in and sees us?”
Ashlynn smiled against his mouth. “I’ll tell him I’m a big girl and I can fuck my head of security if I want to.”
“I love when you say head,” Jase muttered.
“You love more when I give it.”
“No doubt.” Jase’s free hand slid around to cup her ass, squeezing her close as he adjusted their positions so that he could push two fingers inside her. “Is that an offer?”
That was another thing she liked about Jase. He sated her every craving and wasn’t afraid to ask for what he wanted.
She offered another nod.
“Yes, it was an offer? Or yes, you want me to make you come with my fingers, right here?”
“The first, although the second’s not a bad idea, either,” she told him breathlessly, hating that his hand was forced to retreat as she slid her back down the wall, her eyes still locked with his.
While she fumbled with his zipper, Jase pressed his fingers against her lips. “Suck them clean and I’ll give you my dick.”
Never looking away, she took his fingers into her mouth, licking them clean while she freed his cock from his jeans. When he removed them, her tongue instantly lapped at the bead of pre-cum pooling on the wide, swollen head. His hands slid into her hair, gripping her firmly while she proceeded to blow him right there, in the hallway of her brother’s house.
This was probably one of the more private places she and Jase had gotten down to business in. They’d become notorious for acting on their urges spontaneously. It kept it interesting, to say the least.
Ashlynn wasn’t embarrassed to say that her sex drive was high, significantly higher than most women. Previous lovers hadn’t been able to keep up, which was likely the reason she had never settled down long enough to have a real relationship. That and she didn’t believe that sex and love had anything to do with one another. But if she was ever going to give in to love—if it even really existed—then she was damn sure going to be certain the man could sate her every physical need first.
Regrettably, finding that man wasn’t as easy as she would’ve preferred. Not until Jase, anyway. Not that this thing between them could be categorized as a relationship. But it was the longest amount of time she’d been with any one man exclusively. They’d been fucking like rabbits for about a year, and the frequency hadn’t lessened with time. In fact, Ashlynn was inclined to think she wanted him even more now. It was as though he knew her, knew what she liked, what she needed, what she wanted.
It helped that he wanted the same things. Such as Leyton crushed between them.
Jase was openly bisexual, although he hadn’t been with a man in all the time they’d been sleeping together. To help alleviate that desperate need that ate at him, they’d started talking about their fantasies while she secretly plotted a way to get Leyton to succumb to his own desires. It was the twenty-first century, after all, and a woman was allowed to ask for what she wanted, to explore her sexuality and admit she had needs. It had been during one of those fantasy discussions that she and Jase had both learned that adding Leyton to the mix would be the cherry topping on a fucking kick-ass sex sundae.
“Aww, yeah,” Jase moaned, tugging her hair as he pressed his hips forward. “You’re so fucking hot like that, Ash. My dick buried in your mouth.”
That was another thing she enjoyed about Jase. He was incredibly vocal. There were times when he could almost get her off with little stimulation and a hell of a lot of that dirty talk.
However, as good as he was, no one was perfect. The one thing about Jase she’d noticed early on … although he was supremely alpha, when it came to sex between them, he had always submitted to her to some degree. Even if he topped from the bottom so to speak, he had always allowed her to maintain the ultimate control. And she knew, deep down, Jase worried she would break if he took that away from her.
Sometimes she feared he might be right about that.
Movement out of the corner of her eye caught Ashlynn’s attention. While she continued to suck Jase deep into her mouth, using her hand to stroke him simultaneously, she flicked her gaze down the hall. There, in all of his sexy glory, was Leyton.
He looked almost bored, but Ashlynn knew better. He was likely trying to figure out whether or not he should join them. She already knew what his final answer would be, but a girl could definitely hope.

One thing that Nicole Edwards never fails to do is bring the scorch, and this book was no exception! After having the small taste at the end of Beautifully Brutal, I could not wait to get my hands on this one and read all about the journey of Ashlynn, Leyton, and Jase. And though I was squirming in my seat the entire story in the most delicious of ways, there was unsurprisingly so much heart at the base of it all. And even though there were three main characters to volley through, not to mention the numerous vital side characters, I still felt as if I got to know them on an intimate basis. Could I have gotten to know them a little better? Sure. But that’s just me being greedy and always wanting more than I’m given when I really love a story. What Edwards did was deliver a tale of three lost souls giving into their basic wants and needs and finding a love that not only worked for them, but was utter perfection.
Even though he wasn’t the star of this show, BL definitely made me fall in love with Max more than I already thought I could. When you read the back stories of Leyton and Ashlynn you will understand what I mean and trust me, they will be hard to stomach. There were people I wanted to dig out of their graves and kill them all over again when it was all said and done, especially Samuel. The hatred I feel towards that scum, especially after learning all the things he perpetuated towards not only his wife, but his own children, whew… And I know because of these actions it shaped many characters into who they became, and had it been different, our story could have been very different, but still. I digress…
This book was so aptly titled because the loyalty shown throughout was truly beautiful. Starting with Leyton and his loyalty to a family not that he was born into, but one that chose him and was a vital part of nonetheless. To read the road it took for him to get there was truly heartbreaking, but to read how deeply it affected him, even all those years later, nearly brought me to tears more than once. You truly never really know what’s going on behind closed doors unless you want to. And even though it was horrific, I believe it allowed Leyton to appreciate what he had worked for all the more. He was a man that while he had his insecurities, he carefully weighed all the options before diving into a situation, especially ones that could completely alter his life as he knew it. And though the attraction and want had been there for many years, he was willing to wait until the time was right. Because he didn’t want just one night. He wanted forever and was fine with putting in the work to get there. I fell for Jase’s playfulness hard. While he was a man who took his job seriously, he was also a man who went after what he wanted, inhibitions be darned. His brazenness, his lack of filter, his calm in the storm of Ashlynn; it all tied together to be the glue that these three really needed to make it work. Because Ashlynn was running scared, didn’t believe in love, and wanted nothing to do with anything remotely long term. She wanted the fun. She wanted the carefree attention with no emotions attached. She wanted the blazing hot sex, as much as she could get, with these two delicious men. But what she got? Oh, what she got was so much more.
I love that they made her work for it. I love that they equally confronted each other in ways that they’d never been tested before. And I love that at the end of the day, they loved each other without fail. I know the road to get there was paved with land mines and doubts, but that just made the prize at the end worth every bit of the wait. One of my favorite stories to read are menage relationships where they are actually relationships, not just fun and sex. I like witnessing the inner workings of it all and jumping outside of my comfort zone. I live for the relationships and the love and the sex and that was all delivered ten fold in this story. I’m not sure which sibling is up next, but I’ll be first in line for it!
Love how Nicole Edwards overlaps her series?
Here is the overlapping series order for these books:
Trace Kogan will go to any length to protect those who need protecting. That is the business he is in; the business his father, Casper Kogan, started with Bryce Trexler more than thirty-five years ago. Trace spends day and night eliminating threats to clients, so when the danger hits too close to home, he won’t let anything come between him and the woman who desperately needs his help.
His fear… the physical reaction he has to Marissa may pose a bigger danger than the ghost that they find themselves up against.
Marissa Trexler has spent the last twelve months of her life in hiding, tucked away in one safe house after another for her own protection. The threat to her is real even if the reason is still unknown. Strangely, whoever is after her seems to find her no matter where she goes, leading her family to believe it’s an inside job.
So when the decision is made that Trace will provide personal protection, she can’t say no, even if being close to him adds another level of danger… and this one is to her heart.
Sometimes love isn’t beautiful…
Sometimes the only way to describe it is beautifully brutal.
If you think you know him… You’re wrong.
If you think you know his family… Wrong again.
If you think you know his story… You don’t.
If you did, you’d likely wonder how the hell a man like Maximillian Adorite managed to make it to this point in his life. At twenty-nine, he’s experienced more than most people could only ever imagine, all thanks to his family. Organized crime they call it. Mafia.
No matter how they spin it, it comes down to one thing. Max gets what he wants. Except for the one thing he wants most.
Her name is Courtney Kogan.
And now that he’s had a taste of her, Max knows he’ll never be able to let her go.
The Southern Boy Mafia series is a spinoff from the Sniper 1 Security series. It has been set up to be read without reading Sniper 1 Security, however, the characters will frequently cross over.
The first book in the HOT new Devil’s Playground series!
Isaiah Fontenot had never played the role of white knight. At least not until his boss, Maximillian Adorite, gave him the order to. That was when he found himself coming face to face with the stunning Cassidy Owens, the woman in need of saving.
Cassidy only thought she was hiding from the men who were looking for her brother. Not knowing where to go, Cassidy opted to hide in plain sight, taking up temporary residence in a Vegas hotel near her condo. Turned out, she wasn’t as good at hiding as she had planned.
When Isaiah finds Cassidy, it doesn’t take long for passion to ignite. But at the end of the day, when the threat to Cassidy has been neutralized, will the two of them be able to walk away? Without regret?
Devil’s Playground is a spin-off series from Southern Boy Mafia. Each novella is complete and does not contain a cliffhanger.
Ryan Trexler has devoted his entire life to his family’s security business. And now that he’s slated to take over the reins for the company, RT knows that his life is only going to get more complicated. Add in the fact that he’s lusting over one of the men who works for him and RT knows that there are some serious tough times ahead.
Zachariah Tavoularis—nicknamed Z—has been employed by Sniper 1 Security for a decade. Despite being known as the most loyal enforcer outside of family, Z also has a reputation of being quite the playboy, though that was based more on rumor than fact. When an assignment comes up that forces the two of them to work together, Z knows it’s time to show RT he’s not the man he thinks he is.
Can they complete the mission, despite the fact that it puts them in a tenuous situation, bringing them closer than either of them ever expected? And will Z allow RT to convince him that they can never be together, no matter how much they both want it?
