There’s no way I’ll fall for Wyatt Hennington.
He can keep his Southern drawl, irresistible smile, and those pick-up lines all to himself. I made the mistake of sleeping with him not once, but twice. I’m not stupid enough to give him round three, especially after he left me in the middle of the night so I could see myself out. I vow to return to Philadelphia and forget him.
It proves easier said than done.
When the doctor informs me I’m the winner of door prize number two, I put my life on hold and head back to Bell Buckle. Three months and if we can’t make this work, I’m gone.
The problem is—when the cards are stacked against us, and I can’t bring myself to leave him, I’ll finally know if he truly loves me or if all my fears were real...

My Review
I always look forward to when a new Corinne Michael’s book is coming out. Because I know that while she will give me an HEA, she will make me work for it. I will be hopeful yet heartbroken the majority of the story. I will fall hopelessly in love with the characters, becoming so invested I cease to see where reality ends and fiction begins. This has happened with each of her other stories I’ve read and Say You Want Me was no different. Our story actually began in the first installment with a few stolen encounters between our main couple, but all you need to know we learn here. It stars Wyatt, the middle Hennington brother and Angie, the sister of Presley’s deceased husband Todd. Both have lived their lives devoid of any real commitment, which of course just makes them fall all the more harder when they find the right one.
I’m sure you can guess what the surprise is, as we learn it very early on, but still I won’t spoil it for you. Let’s just say it’s my favorite surprise in books, outside of second chance romances. I live and breath for this surprise and love to see how couples who weren’t couples before handle it. It shows their true strength of character and what they are made of. I loved the tenderness between Wyatt and Angie and how hard he fought for her them. Their coupling was instant yet gradual, and when you read this story that will make sense. It’s like there was an instant attraction, an instant knowledge that there was more than meets the eye, but it took them both a while to get in the same place. They were both fighting demons and ghosts from the past and moving on from that was one of the hardest struggles in the book. But as always, the pain on the road to happiness was all worth it in the end. I couldn’t love these two more if I tried.
I loved that we got more insight into Trent and Grace which will be the next installment in this series. They are still both mostly a mystery, but one I look forward to figuring out. Even more interesting will be seeing where Cooper fits into it all. Only time will tell… If you haven’t started this series already, well, what are you waiting for?! Highly recommend!
Say You’ll Stay (Return to Me #1)
Amazon US | My Review
One word.
Stay.
It was all he had to do. Instead, he got on that bus and took my heart with him.
That was seventeen years ago.
I moved on. Marriage. Kids. White picket fence. Everything I ever wanted, but my husband betrayed me and I was left once again.
Alone, penniless, and with two boys, I had no choice but to return to Tennessee. He wasn’t supposed to be there. I should’ve been safe. However, fate has a way of stepping in.
This time around, the tables are turned. It’s my decision. Second chances do exist, but I don’t know if we can repair what’s already been
broken…
