The Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster phenomenon continues in the first heart-pounding new adult romance in The Maddox Brothers series.

Fiercely independent Camille "Cami" Camlin gladly moved on from her childhood before it was over. She has held down a job since before she could drive, and moved into her own apartment after her freshman year of college. Now tending bar at The Red Door, Cami doesn’t have time for much else besides work and classes, until a trip to see her boyfriend is cancelled, leaving her with a first weekend off in almost a year.

Trenton Maddox was the king of Eastern State University, dating co-eds before he even graduated high school. His friends wanted to be him, and women wanted to tame him, but after a tragic accident turned his world upside down, Trenton leaves campus to come to grips with the crushing guilt.

Eighteen months later, Trenton is living at home with his widower father, and works full-time at a local tattoo parlor to help with the bills. Just when he thinks his life is returning to normal, he notices Cami sitting alone at a table at The Red.

As the baby sister of four rowdy brothers, Cami believes she’ll have no problem keeping her new friendship with Trenton Maddox strictly platonic. But when a Maddox boy falls in love, he loves forever—even if she is the only reason their already broken family could fall apart.

In the first installment of the Maddox Brothers books, readers can experience the rush of reading Beautiful Disaster for the first time, all over again.

So unless you’ve been living in some remote part of the world, you’ve no doubt heard of the beautifully talented Jamie McGuire. I have a special connection with her books and here’s why:

Flashback to May 2012. With the exception of Nicholas Sparks and an occasional Jane Green book, I was primarily reading PRINT YA paranormal and dystopian books. My bank statement read nothing but charges from Barnes & Noble and were you to walk into one of there stores, my bookshelves at home looked practically the same. One night I was out shopping with my friends, and as we usually ended a crazy night on the town, we stopped at B&N for coffee and to browse books. Instead of sticking to my norm, as I already owned most of them, I ventured into the Fiction section. I had never heard of Jamie nor her books, but I am a sucker for a pretty cover. Something about Beautiful Disaster stuck out to me, no JUMPED off the shelf at me. Without even reading the back, I knew it was destined to come home with me. Now keep in mind, at this point, even though I had gotten my Nook the previous Christmas, I was still strictly reading print books. I did not see what all the hoopla was about e-books. Boy, was I ever about to find out…

So after falling in LOVE with Travis and Abby, I took to Facebook to find out more. This one book transformed me into an e-book convert. With the exception of book signings, I strictly only read them now. Not only this, but it catapulted me into the world of indie authors, a world of which I NEVER KNEW EXISTED. I cannot imagine my life without this world. I have met so many wonderful people whom I know consider close friends; fellow readers, authors, bloggers, and just general book enthusiasts. So many avenues have opened for me, all because I took a chance on a beautiful book. I started this blog, I’ve been getting into PR, marketing, and graphic design. Though I’ve never had the creativity to come up with a story on my own, I’ve always considered myself a writer. I have this inane ability to connect with characters, no matter what the story line may be. Because of this, when I write reviews, you can feel the passion through my words. I love sharing my love of books with everyone. I sincerely hope to one day turn this into some kind of career, be it professional reviewing for a publication or editing. I am putting into motion steps for this to happen. And all of this was made possible by ONE BEAUTIFUL BOOK.

So thank you Jamie. From the bottom of my book loving, character connecting heart, thank you!

Why did I just give you my life’s spiel you may ask? I promise it wasn’t for naught. Jamie has just released the name and blurb to the spin-off series, Maddox Brothers. The first book is staring Trent, and I simply cannot wait to continue this journey!

We all remember the sad, dark time before Travis “Mad Dog” Maddox captured our hearts in Jamie McGuire’s Beautiful Disaster.  And then when we read Walking Disaster, we fell even MORE in love with him (if that were even possible).  Finally, we cried while Trav and Pidge exchanged their wedding vows in A Beautiful Wedding, as we saw the epic love story that we’ve been a part of from the beginning come to an end.  But now that Travis is done (why, Jamie, why!?!), we need another Maddox man in our lives!  Well… the wait is over.

Atria Books and Jamie McGuire are thrilled to announce that there’s a new Maddox brother coming to readers’ shelves this summer: Beautiful Oblivion!  The book will feature Trent Maddox: his friends want to be him, and women want to tame him, but there’s only one woman who can have his heart.  In the first installment of the Maddox Brothers books, readers can experience the rush of reading Beautiful Disaster for the first time, all over again!  Rumor has it, Trent Maddox is even wilder than Travis. *fingers crossed*

Beautiful Oblivion is on-sale July 1st in paperback, e-book, and e-audio.  Pre-order links for the paperback and e-book are available through many retailers now and the rest will be available this week.

Beautiful Disaster

Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate number of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance from the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University’s Walking One-Night Stand.

Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby wants—and needs—to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the ultimate college campus charmer. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance to his appeal, Travis tricks her into his daily life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis’s apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match.

Walking Disaster

Finally, the highly anticipated follow-up to the New York Times bestseller Beautiful Disaster.

Can you love someone too much?

Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.

In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. But just when he thinks he is invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.

Every story has two sides. In Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it’s time to see the story through Travis’s eyes.

A Beautiful Wedding

You know that Abby Abernathy unexpectedly became Mrs. Maddox. But what do you really know?

Why did Abby pop the question?
What secrets were shared before the ceremony?
Where did they spend their wedding night?
Who else knew about it . . . and didn’t tell?

Everything about Abby and Travis’s elopement was top-secret . . . until now. Fans of Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster will get all of their questions answered in this whirlwind tale of the wedding day (and night!)—and as with all good stories, this one will definitely have been worth the wait.
