“You haven’t told me your name,” I mutter.

“My name?” He pockets his phone just as a black limo pulls into the alley. “My name is Amadeo Amato.”

I glance between him and the car, my head pounding with the worst headache I’ve ever felt.

“But you…” The man smirks at me, finally unbuttoning the shirt collar that seems to have been bothering him all night long. “You will only call me Father.”

“W-What?” I stutter, my eyes widening as he reveals a stiff black-and-white collar beneath his shirt. “What’s happening? I don’t… I don’t understand.”

“You don’t need to understand anything,” he tells me as my vision blurs him out. “Anything at all, little sinner. It’s time.”

“T-Time?” I get out, shivering as I stumble. “Time for what?”

He presses his lips against my ear, the feeling of his skin on mine igniting my body despite what it’s going through in his presence.

“Time to fucking confess,” he grits out – the last memory I have before everything goes black.
