Note from the Author
Dear Readers,
I’m sorry it’s taken me so long. For two years, I’ve tried to write Falling and Trying in hopes I could tell Sam’s story in Blinded. It was the story for which I was most excited. More than anything, I wanted so badly to give the This Series the conclusion it deserved.
Last year, I started a Christmas short story for Gabby and Bradley that included Sam, Joe, and Ryan, but wasn‘t able to finish it because of Noah’s health. Truth be told, I was still doubting my abilities to convey a good story. It wasn’t good enough even if I had finished it.
This year, I picked it back up, and my betas mentioned I should combine the plots for all three books and do one big finale with all the characters. When I heard the idea, I fell in love, and a plot blossomed immediately. Writing became easy again, and I knew I was onto something for which I could proudly release to you.
For months I’ve kept it a secret because I wanted to make sure I could finish it. I’m close, and I am so excited to be able to share it with you next month.
I started out writing for you, but I ended up writing for me. For two years, I’ve yearned for the ability to do that again. I hope you’re able to feel the emotions I have poured into it.
It’s a sexy, angsty read with a pretty hot (for me) cover, which is coming December 12 with the release date set for December 26.
Speaking of December 26, I’ll be having dinner and touring Hopelands Gardens in Aiken with readers of the This Series. If you’re in the South and able to come, I’d love to meet you to celebrate the finale of the story that brought us together!
Thank you so much for your support and patience with me the past two years. You changed my life in 2012 when you took a chance on Broken. Words will never be able to thank you enough. <3

Gabby’s life has been anything but easy. She is surrounded by friends who seem to have everything she doesn’t: money, social standing, and happily married parents. While dealing with the loss of her mother, she experiences her first heartbreak. She commits herself to her studies and runs away from any emotions that aren’t safe. Bradley Banks, a confident CEO and commercial architect, who has long time commitment issues forces Gabby to feel again, but will he be her next heartbreak?
Mending (This, #2)
Amazon US
Gabby has finally started to break down the walls she has worked so hard to build up from all of the heartache she has felt through the years, just as ghosts from Bradley’s past begin to show themselves. Will Gabby find healthy ways to cope with the new heartache she experiences or will she go back to running from the people who pose a risk of hurting her?
Conspiring (This, #2.5)
Amazon US
When Bradley refuses to take Veronica to his cousin’s wedding, she finds herself in the company of the charming and attractive Ian. There is no denying that Veronica and Ian have an intense, mutual attraction which draws them together like magnets. But what neither of them realizes is that their attraction isn’t the only thing pulling them together. It is a small world, and it’s about to get a whole lot smaller when an innocent fling turns into an intricate plan to conspire.
Forgiven (This, #3)
Amazon US
Everyone has a past…good or bad, they are always there. They lurk and linger in the shadows, sometimes reappearing at the most inconvenient times.
Gabby and Bradley thought that their pasts would remain dormant, that happiness was theirs for the taking. Still the strongest of relationships can be rocked by the ugliness from a previous life, even if it seems to be a world away. The fact remains an ugly past is never distant. It taints everything it touches, drives permanent rifts between loved ones, and sometimes can ruin everything. Gabby and Bradley must find the only way to battle the past. Forgiveness becomes a light through the darkness, a guide for the lost, and hope for the hopeless. With forgiveness comes bright, new beginnings.
